Background
On February 5, 2026, the National Assembly of Cambodia collaborated with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and UN Women to discuss and organize the upcoming “Parliament in Action” program. The “Parliament in Action” program targets female candidates from all 25 provinces and municipalities in Cambodia, including young women and existing local leaders such as village chiefs, commune chiefs, and commune council members.
