Draft Law on the Status and Regulation of Notaries in Cambodia Reviewed by Ministry of Justice

On 11 February 2026, Samdech Kert Rit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, chaired a meeting to review the draft law concerning the status and regulation of notaries. This meeting was organized to conduct a final review within the Ministry of Justice’s framework. It included participation from senior ministry officials, subject matter experts, and representatives from the French Notarial Council including Jean Deleage and Olivier Barlet, regional delegates specialized in Southeast Asia and Lyon’s appellate jurisdiction.
