Background
On March 6, 2026, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM), represented by Senior Minister Thao Cheth and Deputy Secretary of State Dr. Oeung Chantha, organized a technical training workshop in Phnom Penh focusing on multi-flood risk management and improving dam operation efficiency. The training workshop presented the RisKma information platform, which has been pilot tested at the Batdambang multi-purpose reservoir (Sek Sak) located in Stueng Sangke, Batdambang Province. Participants included experts from MOWRAM departments of Hydrology and Meteorology, provincial water resources and meteorology offices, relevant technical officers in training, and representatives from CTI Engineering International Co., Ltd.
