Background
On 22 February 2026, Cambodia’s National Police conducted coordinated operations across multiple provinces to suppress drug offenses. These efforts formed part of ongoing national efforts to combat narcotics-related crimes.
Scope of Application
The enforcement actions targeted various drug-related crimes including trafficking, transportation, storage, and consumption. The operations covered several provinces including Battambang, Kampong Chhnang, Kratie, Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, and Takeo.

On the operation date, a total of 16 drug offense cases were addressed with 33 suspects arrested, including 5 women. The breakdown of offenses and detainees is as follows:
- Trafficking: 2 cases, 11 detainees (1 woman)
- Transportation and storage: 8 cases, 14 detainees (3 women)
- Consumption/use: 6 cases, 8 detainees (1 woman)
The substances seized include:
- Methamphetamine (Ice): 62.18 grams
- Ketamine (Ke): 3.19 grams
- MDMA: 8.03 grams
Participation involved 9 units under the police, with 6 units from provincial authorities specifically involved in enforcement actions:
- Battambang: 2 storage cases (2 detainees), 2 use cases (4 detainees, including 1 woman), 1 interdiction case (1 detainee). Seized substances included Ice (0.86g), Ke (3.19g), and MDMA (8.03g).
- Kampong Chhnang: 1 interdiction case (1 detainee).
- Kratie: 2 storage cases (4 detainees), 1 use case (1 detainee). Seized Ice (5.92g).

- Stung Treng: 1 use case (1 detainee).
